VLAB is a proudly canadian production, started out as a pretty basic python soundboard and voice changer. its since turned into VLAB Lite, a c++/JUCE rewrite with a real dsp chain, noise gate, eq, compressor, pitch shifter, distortion, bitcrush, tremolo, stutter, ring mod, chorus, phaser, flanger, auto wah, delay, a limiter so you dont blow anyones ears out, pan/headspace, and reverb. all of it live on your actual voice, for anyone who doesnt know audio engineering too well the links go to wikipedia so you can read up on what any of this actually means.
past the fx chain theres a soundboard with recording and hotkeys you can bind per slot, plus you can now have multiple soundboards and switch between them. theres a tts tab that highlights words as it talks, a midi tab with an on screen piano and an arpeggiator, and a bunch of visualizers if you like watching the sound move, waveform, spectrum analyzer, a radial spectrum, a vu meter, goniometer, a weird lil virtual head widget, and even a jellyfish overlay thing that just floats around for fun.
theres also a system echo tab now so you can hear what other apps on your pc are putting out, a ui preset manager to save and load your whole layout, support for multiple languages, and theres even a little pong minigame hidden in there if you poke around enough.
ui is fully themeable too, glassmorphism included, plus an rgb mode with rainbow/pulse/strobe/chase if your into that, and app mods now let people build their own visual addons on top of audio mods.
